Scholarship Letter

Dear Ms. A.J. :

It is my pleasure to inform you that the Financial Aid Committee at the Sturm College of Law considers you an outstanding candidate and has voted to offer you a $17,000 tuition scholarship for the 2010-2011 academic year Day Division.

If you have not already done so (and are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident), it is very important that you complete the 2010-2011 FAFSA as soon as you are able.

The scholarship will appear as a tuition credit, one half in the Fall Semester and one half in the Spring Semester.  It cannot be applied to any costs other than University of Denver Sturm College of Law JD tuition.  It will be renewed each semester, for a total of six semesters for day students and eight semesters for evening students, so long as you maintain a minimum 3.0 grade point average.

Congratulations on your award!  Scholarship awards are a long tradition at the Sturm College of Law.  They are made possible largely through the generosity of friends and alumni and we welcome you to that tradition.

We are genuinely pleased for your interest in the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. Please feel free to call with any questions or concerns.

I look forward to meeting you in the near future.

Sincerely,

[Office of Financial Management]
